What is underground?

Vineyard Underground is simply a place where you will find music and worship coming directly from Vineyard churches. One of the earmarks of the Vineyard has been the birth and growth of local songs and albums, that weren't conceived in a studio, but in the small groups, youth gatherings and Sunday mornings of local Vineyard churches. Many of these songs went on to become standards in the church today, echoing our hearts cry to the Father. And while not all our local songs and music will end up circling the globe, we know that we are still called to make His praise glorious and to give our hearts in worship to Christ.

It is in that spirit that Vineyard Underground was started, to help facilitate the groundswell of local Vineyard worship into the larger Body of Christ. Vineyard Underground itself is a partnership between Vineyard Music USA and WorshipMusic.com, which have worked together to create this online presence allowing Vineyard churches a local, real voice of expression for their music. Vineyard Music USA provides direction and vision for Vineyard Underground, and has approved Vineyard Underground as an extension of ministry to the Vineyard churches. WorshipMusic.com provides technical support, web site development and online sales for Vineyard Underground.
